JokeNews is run by two young entrepreneurs who turned a cool idea into great website. We love what we do and, considering the constant positive feedback we receive, are pretty sure you love this site too.

Orders have been sent to to 27 countries and counting, with average international delivery times of under 10 days. Domestic orders in the US and UK are usually received within 2-3 days. Occasional Google searches show that we're still the top player in the "Joke Newspaper" market, and with two sales offices spanning the Atlantic, we're doing quite well.

HISTORY
This website was developed in March 2003 by Morgan Sowden, and went live under the name iReadTheNewsToday.com. Successful from the start, it was frequently featured as site of the day in both national and international media.

Philip & family

In early 2005 Morgan was contacted by Philip Jenks, a British entrepreneur, with the idea of launching a UK version. This conversation led to a total redesign, some serious server upgrades and significant reprogramming, not to mention loads of great new templates. But the hard work paid off and, in May 2005 (just over 2 years after it's original launch), JokeNewspaper.com replaced the original site and went live with a UK version.

In October 2005 JokeNewspaper bought RudeMountain.com, a leader in off-beat humor, and will replace RudeMountain's "Cartoon of the Week" with the JokeNews feel-good email: A topical article, with you as the star, delivered free to your inbox. We will also be integrating much of the RudeMountain content into our site, the cards should be live by December 1st 2005.
